Crowdtilt’s New Payout Options
Up to this point, admins of Crowdtilt campaigns have had one option of receiveing the money they pool: waiting about a week for a check to come in the mail.
While this has not created any problems, or had much resistance, we felt that it was time to create some more options. Sure, admins can still opt to receive a check in the mail, but now they have a choice involving a few more options thanks to our new payment processing company Pound Pay.
Direct Deposits into your bank account that will show up after your campaign ends are now available! This means you can start a campaign, collect the money, and it will show up in your bank account within a few days (soon it will be within 24 hours too). Not only is this much faster than waiting for a check and much easier than dealing with depositing that check, but it also opens up many new opportunities for faster, “on-the-fly” campaigns. All you have to do is set up your direct deposit information one time, and you can always have the one-click option of sending it straight to your bank account.
PayPal deposits will also allow admins the capability of having the money they collect sent directly to their PayPal accounts, making the process very easy for those who prefer the online payment transactions that PayPal provides. Some people like going through PayPal when organizing certain things, so we wanted to make sure that they have that option if they want it.
Basically, when your Crowdtilt campaign ends you will receive an email from Pound Pay giving you all of the options to receive your money, leaving the control in your (the admin’s) hands. We felt that giving our customers more options of payout is one way to really optimize the experience of Crowdtilt, which we believe is the best, most effecient and easiest way to pool your money…for ANYTHING. It’s also social and fun!
